Integrate Your Twitter Account

Did you know that you can manage all aspects of your Twitter account right from Buzz Weaver?? Yeah, how cool is that???

Once you set up your Twitter account through Buzz Weaver there is no reason for you to even log into Twitter. You can:

Post to Twitter
View your Twitter Wall feed
Follow people
re-tweet
reply to tweets
search
find Buzz Weaver members who are also on Twitter
Answer and send direct messages
display your tweets in your main profile box
Set up auto tweets when you post to different areas
Sync your main site status to your Twitter tweets
Others can see your full Twitter page just by clicking on your name in your Twitter box
Grab an RSS feed to put on other sites
and more!!

So, now you want to know how to do this, right? Well, here we go, it really is very simple.

1) In the Main Top menu bar, go to "Home"

2) Click on "Twitter"

3) Click on "Sign in with Twitter"

4) You will be redirected to the Twitter website to authorize the integration

5) Click on "Allow"

6) You will be redirecte back to Buzz Weaver and you should see your Twitter feed

Personalize your settings:

1) Click on Home -> Twitter

2) On the right hand side of the Twitter page you will see the word "Setting", Click on that

3) Choose how you wish to use your Twitter account. You can enable auto Tweets of your activities and designate what sections you want to auto Tweet.

Add the Follow me on Twitter button to profile

Post your twitter "Follow Me" button in the comment section so others can follow you!

To do this

Insert Image:
1. Click on the image icon in the comment section
2. Enter the following url for the image: http://twitter-badges.s3.amazonaws.com/follow_me-a.png
3. Click on "Submit"

Attach Link:
1. Highlight the code in the comment box.
2. Click on the "link" icon
3. Insert link to YOUR twitter profile
4. Click Submit

Done!

Your code will look like this: [ link='http://www.twitter.com/buzzweaver' ][img ]http://twitter-badges.s3.amazonaws.com/follow_me-a.png[/img ][/link ] (with no spaces and YOUR Twitter ID in there)

Set up your SMS phone notification

BuzzWeaver offers SMS capabilities so you can receive and send text messages through your mobile phone. Right now this feature Is only available for US based cell phone services, but we hope to expand on this in the near future.

To set up your phone connection:

From the “Account” link in the main menu tab, go to SMS Settings

You need to verify your cell phone number to use this free services.

You need to send a text message to our system.

When you send the text message you put the following in the send to field on your phone: 41411

In the message area you need to put the following: BUZZWEAVER

Then send this message.

Once this is done you will receive a verification code text message to your cell phone.

Type this code into the "Response Code" box and click on "Submit Response Code"

You will now be able to set your preferences for who can send you a text message and what type of notifications you want from the site to your cell phone.

You can choose to allow anyone to send you a text message or just your top friends. The choice is yours.

Please know that your cell phone number will never be visible to users of BuzzWeaver.com. BuzzWeaver.com does not have access to your cell phone number and if that should ever become available to us, it will NEVER be sold or given out to any third party.
